I have also anaylised artists with a similar genre of music to look at the conventions of music websites; Sugababes and Jordin Sparks.

   

 From analysising these websites, I have found that conventionally a large image of the of the artist dominates the homepage. The name of the artist is prominant and obvious. There is a simple colour scheme of about three colours and the first noticable information is what is recent with the artists’ career/what they’re trying to promote.

As I am doing a website for Kelly Clarkson, I am going to take the idea of using a promotional photograph as the main image, using the same font style and genreal feel of the album/single covers, promoting the new single, the video I’m producing for “Addicted”.
